Patrick Roy became the first goaltender in NHL history to play in 1,000 NHL games. In total he played in 1,029 regular season games and 247 playoff games. Over 19 seasons, Roy played for two teams and won four Stanley Cups. Often considered the best NHL goalie, Roy was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006. During his career, Roy won the Vezina Trophy awarded to the league's best goaltender in 1989, 1990 and 1992.

This white Mitchell & Ness Authentic Vintage jersey was signed by Roy on the top segment of the first #3 on the back of the jersey in silver paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five Step Process.
